Amazing stuff
Excellent product. Water just beads now on the bricks and mortar. Product is so good that the first coat mostly resists the second coat, proving it's working already. Tested chucking a bit of water of an untreated piece of wall vs a piece of wall treated with Water Seal. Results are absolutely stark; the water soaks into the untreated brick but just beads and rolls of the treated brick. Best of all, perhaps, is that the treatment is totally "invisible". You can't tell it has been coated as its appearance does not change. It's rained many times since I've treated my bricks with Water Seal and it still works as well as day one. It's amazing stuff.

New Formula
This product does not do effectively what it is supposed to, it is a new water based formula unlike the older type of Thompsons Water Seal, I used it on an Asbestos garage roof and it just did not seal it, I also tried it on some brick work and it didn't work on that either. Ultimately I bought a tin of No Nonsense Water Seal which was brilliant and repelled water when applied to any porous surface.

Easy to use either with a brush or roller after two coats this did what is says on the tin I would recommend to any one with a issue with the outside wall I have moved recently and have purchased again as I have moved into a 1936 house so have used this on the outside front wall.

It's magic.
It's fantastic! I used it on the single brick wall of our porch which water seeped through. I gave it one coat either side as it suggested and hey presto. It took a few days to dry out but now the problem has gone. I'd recommend it to anybody, it's easy to use, no mess, wash the brush in water, what more could you want.

easy to apply
Needed this product as we had penetrating water coming through when it rained .the product had clear instructions and was so easy to apply , I did the first coat with a roller and the second with a brush . It was very quick drying and once I'd applied the second coat the wall was sealed and since then no more penetrating damp

Good quality water seal.
Bought 2 X 5lt. cans as price very good. Found it to be easy to use and have since discovered it really repels water very well indeed. Using a 3" brush a 5lt. can covered roughly 9 square metres of block paving with 2 coats.

Used a Wagner to spray sealant, very easy to apply, quick drying, wall no repel rain rather than soak it up. Tins arrived well packed and undamaged. Recommend product on any rain susceptance wall.

I have garage built of reconstituted stone blocks.The wall facing the prevailing wind gets saturated in wet weather and water comes straight through the blocks.A coating of Thompson’s water seal every few years solves the problem.I use a garden sprat to apply,job done in 1hour.
