    Super Awesome TV Show!

    There are Region 2 but there are ways you can watch these in the United States with or without a region free DVD player. Brought back the fun and excitement of watching these when I was young. Like the Monkees, only with men in suits and short shows like Danger island, the Three Musketeers, and others. Too bad only the first season is available and only in region 2 (what gives with that?). Well worth the money though!

    A blast from the past

    Where do I begin with this old show? I used to watch this show when it was airing on Boomerang and it was one of my favorite shows when I was younger. The Banana Splits were my favorite segments of the program, so I was very excited when I could watch the Splits only. The Splits, themselves, are 4 funny animal costumed characters; Fleagle, a beagle; Bingo, an orangutan; Drooper, a lion; and Snorky, an elephant. The voice actors are Paul Winchell, Daws Butler, and Allan Melvin, respectively. The in show segment, from the ones I watched, are good, I am not going into much detail seeing as I skipped them. The shows songs are also good, my personal favorites are Wait Til Tomorrow, The Show Must Go On, and Soul. A wonderful show, just as good all these years later, a wonderful purchase! One small detail I should mention is the dvd set is Region 2, if you live in anywhere but Japan, Europe, South Africa, and the Middle East, you will need either a region free dvd player, or a pc with VLC player, I believe.

    I am glad I bought season 1 looking for season 2

    I grew up watching banana splits. I like watching it still now. I also enjoy introducing older movies, cartoons, commercials to my nieces and nephews and my GREAT nieces and nephews! Now I’m on the search for season 2 of the banana splits!!!
