Most life like candle I have bought
I bought these having already bought the same product in a garden centre. I was so impressed I tried to buy another but they were sold out so found these online and bought two sets. They are the same and just as life like but I must say the end where the battery is inserted and you turn to close up which makes the contact and turns them on and off is very stiff on these compared to those I purchased previously. Indeed it appeared they didn’t work when I first got them but hubby adjusted them and although still stiff to turn on and off they do work and I am pleased with them. Getting the candles to work after unpackaging.
Initially they do not light up when batteries are inserted and the cap screwed up as far as it goes. This is caused in the manufacturing process of letting the wax flow too far to the base of the candle, covering the last mm of thread. Once the end of thread has been cleared of wax, with a sharp knife, the electrical circuit can be completed with the cap screwing in to its full extent, and performing as it should. I've 14 of these candles over the last three years and nearly all of them have had the same initial problem.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
