Because it smells soooo clean. I love it! My towels and linens smell fantastic. Same with my clothes. It only takes 1/3 cup, so it goes a long way. My whole house smells heavenly when I use it. My wife loves this product. Although it may seem expensive at first glance, my wife just uses a cap full whenever she is washing linens, towels, sheets, etc. and so it lasts a relatively long time. She washed the summer linens at the beginning of last winter and stored them in a tote. When she opened that tote a few weeks ago everything smelled as fresh and wonderful as if just out of the wash.
