Nice System for keeping an eye on things.
First let me say this is a monitoring system, which sends you clips of video after the event. Which this does very well. No issues setting up very good video and many options to set / control cameras remotly. It offers a live view feature so you can see what your camera does live. It has sound but you can't communicate back there is no speaker. If you want to monitor your property and don't want a monthly fee to access your cameras this may be for u. This will take different length video clips as short as 5 seconds when motion is detected. So the video is sent to your phone app within 10 to 15 sec from first detection of motion if it looks supicuois go to live view and if it's not looking good get on the sqwak box and notify the Police with your issue. Even thought it's not live when motion occurs you can still react within 1 to 2 minutes which isn't bad for realitvy inexpensive cameras and no monthly fees to worry about. 4 stars 1. Sync module can be tricky to locate to reach all cameras I found my spot it's all good. 2.) A security system not a monitor
The Blink XT is a well made product and was not hard to set up. One problem is that it is limited in scope. It can be adjusted up and down but not left to right. Another item is its recording time is limited and you get constant alerts of running out of storage space. You get what you pay for and a little bit more
I usually believe I get what I pay for. Needs more information on what is compatible with Blink XT. May or May not work with Echo Show 5? Works with my Samsung Tablet. Still trying to get to work with Echo Show 5. I am still working out a solution to have Echo Show5 work with Blink XT. Picture taken is clear. I also suggest getting a solar powered unit to save on battery life. Get the protective cover and also unit for router. I may like product but you may differ. Also it shows battery does not run for two years since it is just a lithium battery by Energizer. And yes bees are attracted to camera housing. The blink xt camera came earlier than I expected. The setup was very easy and it works well. My daughter and her husband have one and they love it. Everything good except batteries
Only have about a week and a half, so far so good, very good quality, my only complaint is it seems that the batteries are already getting low. I've had a couple of low indicator warnings. Easy set up.
I selected this camera as it’s battery is rated for the longest life cycle. Easy to set up. I needed to adjust the sensitivity a bit. Now, I see the UPS guy from my phone when he drops off packages. The mount just snaps on the back so I was concerned it might fail on its own. I purchased the separate mount as it screws into the back of the case. Good resolution on the camera.
