Always fit your ear plugs so that they seal the ear closed. Once you put both plugs in, check the fit by talking out loud. Your voice should sound hollow, as if you are talking in a barrel. The noises around you should not sound as loud as they did before you put the plugs in.

    Best earplugs

    I have tried a number of different earplugs and these are by far the best. Nice and soft and easy to squeeze and insert then they return to shape filling your ear cavity comfortably. They really block out the noise and give me a good night's sleep.

    Does what is says...good value.

    Does what it says, I use them daily, they are okay for soft noise, I use wax plugs for when I want to block everything out. I do use them more than once, I keep them clean and probably re-use the same ones about four times or more, the foam tends to get hard after a few days so you know when they need changing. Do keep them clean if you are re-using them. Great to take on planes and on holiday, or for snoring husbands!!!

    Great Ear Plugs

    I have been using these ear plugs for years, both as hearing protection at work, and as an aid for a peaceful night's sleep. I can thoroughly recommend them for both purposes, as a qualified health and safety advisor also. They can be used more than once if still clean and soft, which adds to their value, particularly for sleeping. However, if using in particularly noisy work places, a new pair should be used each session.

    Very effectively cancels noise to tolerable level

    I've used these ear plugs for years...my partner likes to sleep with a fan on ( he hates silence) and this cancels noise perfectly....I can still hear faint noise so could wake up if I needed to...but wearing these at night makes fan noise sound distant.

    Noisy neighbours
