Works, but..
The hot sauce stopped the raccoons completely. Ours squirrels seem to enjoy the spice, they have slowed down a bit, but still visit the feeders. Hotter than Hades but squirrels don't care.
I think I have squirrels that are immune to hot foods!! My squirrels don't care if I put a tablespoon or 1/4 cup in the mix. They empty out my feeder within 2 days. I can tell you that this stuff is the real deal...it's so hot that if you get even the fumes in your face while mixing, you're SORRY you did. Not as advertised
I carefully measured out enough black oil sunflower seeds for a full bottle. The birds seem to like it, but, so do the squirrels. It doesn’t work against my squirrels. I bought a package deal of 3 flaming hot squirrel sauce. I would have been much better off saving my money and buying an extra 75 lbs of sunflower seeds. Hot!!!!!
I had terrible problems with squirrels stealing from our bird feeders. My son recommended the Flaming Seed Sauce, which I bought the same day. No more problems with squirrels! I've now started using it off-label, diluting the sauce with water and a teaspoon of dish soap, and then spraying my outdoor plants. If you are fed up with squirrels eating your bird feed then you need to try this product !!! IT DOES WORK !!! IT DOES NOT BOTHER THE BIRDS . Squirrels hate this!
The Coles Flaming sauce is awesome, but the squirrels hate it! I mix with my normal bird seed and the squirrels have not bothered to get any of the seed. However the birds apparently do not taste the hot sauce. And this is HOT SAUCE! If you are not careful while handling the sauce, it can be extremely uncomfortable to humans. it works !

Performs as promised!
Since applying this product to our black oil sunflower seeds I no longer see squirrels climbing up to the feeder and feasting on what was meant for the birds. Instead, they look up at the feeder wistfully and warily. The birds flock to our little feeder! Because we live in an urban area we tend to get small brown birds and only the occasional cardinal, Downey woodpecker or black-capped chickadee. But still, it's delightful to see them!
