    Mixed blessing

I purchased this specifically to aid in relief of carpal tunnel problems while using the computer. The (almost) 5" X 5" surface is easy on the fingers. Even knowing that Logitech never provides any Linux support or Linux drivers, I tried it anyway. In Linux, there's only one word to describe it: horrible. Clicking requires more force than a normal mouse or my Adesso trackpad. And many features don't function due to SetPoint drivers not being available in Linux, even using WINE. However, in Windows 10, it is magnificent. The trackpad delivered had old firmware that is easily updated using Logitech's provided tools. If you purchase this, get the SetPoint drivers and the new firmware directly from the Logitech website. The device uses the Logitech 2.4GHz Unifying receiver. I have a Logitech keyboard, a regular M510 mouse and the T650 all attached via the same Unifying receiver and all work without any problem. Conclusion: Whether you will find this useful or not will depend on your computer's OS.

    Old Hardware, old drivers

this is a multitouch pad that looks great on pictures but has many disadvantages. It seems it only detects two fingers so no three or four fingers gestures. the drivers are old, not designed for Windows 10 and although it can be used, the movement is jerky and laggy, the worst touchpad I have ever used. Don't waste your money on this.

  • Thin and lightweight Key board

The product is good. I am using it for my TV monitor connected to my laptop. Bluetooth connection is good. Disadvantage - It takes 4 Batteries but Logitech and not a good shape. They should have given little more angle to the keyboard. It feel more flat when you use it. The click on the pad has weird touch but you will get used to it. You need to get adjust to the keyboard and the square pad.

  • Great Page Scroller

Clicking on something is difficult at best, but it is a great page scroller. Mine has had good battery life. I use it with my left hand to take some pressure off my right hand with the mouse. The mouse is still the better clicker.

  • Good product

It's a great product, it is unfortunate no new drivers are out for WINDOWS 10 to take advantage or other features such as sliding between desktops. But overall it works fine and meets my main requirements.

  • Everything you'd expect from Logitech

First off, be it known that I have not used the apple trackpad, so I can't compare it to this. That being said, when I started looking at buying this touchpad, I was debating between getting it and the cheaper Dell TP713. I ended up going with this one for three reasons: 1, we're talking logitech versus dell (a company who deals exclusively with input/output devices versus one that primarily deals with complete systems); 2, this model has a built-in rechargeable battery (versus 2 AAA's); and 3, this model's on/off switch is on the side versus on the back/bottom, which makes it very easy to turn it off without moving it. The touchpad has delivered on each of these expectations. Other pluses worth noting are its physical size and high-quality build. As far as cons go, it is annoying that Logitech's 3rd party software is required for some things to work (tap to click being one). It should also be noted that one cannot add any custom gestures to the touchpad in windows 7 (not sure about 8-10). Lastly, the top of the touchpad is more like glass than a typical touchpad (which always felt more like lightly textured plastic to me), and as far as I know it is not oleophobic, so you will probably notice some oil buildup after extended use. This doesn't seem to affect usability and it cleans off just fine, but if you're semi OCD (or moreso) like me, then it might bug you. All in all, A+, everything that I expected and some. Not perfect, but still awesome.

  • comfortable, does what it says it does

It is hard to find a good touch pad.......almost impossible. I think this is the only one out that works well.....but unfortunately it is very expensive which I'm sure keeps people from buying them. It works well and it is easy on my wrist.

  • Very nice, almost MacBook-like

I have a MacBook with a large touchpad, and have gotten into the habit of navigating with touchpad on the Mac. My older Windows laptop has a touchpad, but not a multi-touch capable one. I was looking for something that could bring the same kind of smooth experience to my laptop. This touchpad is large, silky smooth, responsive, and understands multi touch gestures. After a little exploration, I discovered that I could set its scroll direction the same as the Mac, and I have rarely looked at my old mouse again. If you like mechanical clicking, there are left and right click switches attached to the front feet of the touchpad. Also, the installation software noticed my Logitech wireless keyboard and integrated both the touchpad and the keyboard through the same dongle, saving me a USB port. Although the Logitech site makes no claim to Windows 10 compatibility, it works fine. For $30 it's extended the life of my 2009 laptop another couple of years. Con: wait a little while after applying hand lotion, to keep fingertips from sticking on the surface. Getting a cup of coffee is just about the right timing.

  • Works great for everything but Mac

I have used this on a Windows 10 PC, a Chromebook, an Android based PC and a Macbook Air and it works great for all of them except the Macbook, which does not have the drivers needed to use multitouch gestures, which is a shame. Hard to beat for the price I got it at.

  • Logitech Touchpad is in constant use. Great purchase.

I loved the touchpad that was built into my laptop except for one major problem: as I type my thumbs or palms would contact the touchpad and move the cursor. I would then be typing in a different paragraph or cell. By having the touchpad just off the computer I can type without problems and use the multi-gesture touchpad easily. One note: in the instruction, I never found the explanation that the left mouse button is the left front foot of the pad and right mouse button is the right foot. While the pad itself is sensitive for a click, depressing one of the feet gives you the same use as the computer's buttons. Again, great purchase.
