iPad 3rd generation
Already have a iPad 1st generation and an iPad Air 4th generation, I needed another iPad for my wife to use, playing games, shopping on eBay, looking at YouTube etc etc. I saw this iPad 3rd generation on eBay, bid for it and won. When it arrived I set it all up and was surprised to see that it only has iOS 9.7 installed and that was the maximum you could update it to, so you cannot download many games as most games require at least iOS 10, the same goes for eBay, YouTube, google earth etc etc. Apple iPad 3rd generation is no different than apple iPad 1st generation, other than it has a camera. I was very disappointed with it as I thought it would be a much higher spec than the iPad 1. I would not recommend anyone buying the iPad 3rd generation as the spec is very poor and you wouldn’t be able to download any of the things I have stated above and no doubt many other things. Out of a score of 10 I would give it a 3, so be warned before you buy, check what iOS operating it is using you need one that uses minimum of iOS 10 that can be upgraded to the very latest iOS.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Good value for money
I have had a bad time recently with iPads, breaking more than one, in various drops etc. I always get a refurb from Apple as a replacement, but they charge silly money each time. Found this on eBay and thought I would give it a try. Cannot complain. Good product for a refurb machine. On the negative side, charging cable doesn't work, so contacted supplier who dispatched a replacement without quibble. Using a proper iPad charging cable, this device takesapprox14 hours to charge, and needs recharged after only 5 hours use. Still, as in everything, you get what you pay for, so will persevere......
