The Apple Time Capsule offers server-grade storage capacity for backing up any Mac computer in a compact module. The Time Capsule hard drive works with the Time Machine inside Mac OS Leopard to create a full backup of the computer's contents. This 2 TB hard drive protects the data stored on it through built-in firewall and standard encryption technologies, including WPA, WPA2, and 128-bit WEP. Designed to work with a SATA I interface, it has a spindle speed of 7,200 RPM. The Apple Time Capsule connects to any DSL or cable modem to form a wireless network for Mac and PC computers through the AirPort Utility. The wireless technology of the Time Capsule hard drive allows users to print from any area to a connected central printer. The 2 TB hard drive allows wireless drive sharing for Mac and PC computers, which enables the sharing of stored files on nearly any computer on the network. Great piece of equipment, essential for any Mac user
For anyone with a Mac, i'd say these are essential, but.. Apple have stopped making them. They automatically back up your Mac, and the router is better quality than your traditionsl BT, Virgin, EE, Sky etc router (I've been told this by a virgin tecki person).
