Still a great little phone
I still think it is a great design and this example works as well in all respects as my 2002 6310i model did when new and would still normally have a week or more standby time but it is a shame about this particular battery. It is not the first time of disappointment with the generic BPS-2N battery and this one is for the bin as it does not accept charge.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Ok handset, but.......
Maybe was expecting too much. The handset was delivered pronto and on first inspection was delighted....but looking closer you can pretty much tell it is refurbished- The cover screen is not the same width or shape of the original 6310i and so you have to tilt it sideways to see the time in the top right hand corner. The colour is not the same either, as the original was sort of brushed metal colour where as this is silver and looks like it has been spray-painted....lastly battery life is poor, without much use the battery needs charging in 3 days, which for a new battery is poor. I guess that`s what you get with refurbished, it`s not new or as new, but I suppose if it was it would have been 8 times the price if new. On the plus side it works perfectly. Poorly refurbished phone
I purchase this phone because back in the day it was super reliable. This phone is not reliable. It doesn't hold its charge, it turns itself of all of the time. The buttons don't always work. Best phone ever made
The 6310I is arguably the best ever Nolkia phone, still sought after as one of the best handsets ever made.. bar none.. Tri- band so works anywhere in the world, battery life is measure in day not hours, reception and transmission is fantastic.. A no bells no frills phone.. does what it says on the box.. the Handy 04 is the EX intrinsically safe model produced by Ecom instruments, it can be used in hazardous atmospheres.. very rare model .
