Prima Guides Get You Running and Gunning Fast
I have purchased Prima Guides for most of the first-person shooter games I own as they are so well researched and informative. This guide on Skyrim is an absolute must as the game playing area is huge and loaded with a myriad of challenges from friends and enemies both above ground and underground. With so many factions and followers to choose from, having a goto manual really helps keep the bewildering options manageable. The magic and alchemy aspects alone are worth the price of the book. Like making potions to boost health or resist a mage's spells. The book has tables for those as well as descriptions of armor and weapon damage ratings, available perks for taking on a companion or even marrying one. With a game as big as this and as expensive, why wouldn't you get the most out of the experience? Did I mention they come with a big map of locations? Outstanding graphics
I'm not an avid game player, but this game and the Elder Scrolls Oblivion got me started. I have over 200 hours on the game and the graphics are great. This is especially true about the dragons and wolves fighting scenes. The story line follows a certain line and you can branch off on side quest if you want. The book is huge with so much content. It does not have ( at least that I could find) detailed answers for puzzles. Like the answer to open a door was on the back of a claw but I couldn't make it out on the screen.
