Condition:
All six volumes of the 'Golden Collection' series of the Warner Brothers' animated cartoon. Each collection raids the archives of the popular and long-running series, Looney Tunes, to bring back the adventures of such iconic characters as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Speedy Gonzales and Elmer Fudd. The bulk of the cartoons are uncut and have been remastered from the original negatives. As well as classic episodes from all the main characters, the collection features Looney Tunes cartoons dating from the Second World War, including send-ups of Hermann Goering, Hideki Tojo and Joseph Stalin, rare shorts directed by Friz Freleng and a selection of influential director Bob Clampett's standout episodes.

The Best Looney Tunes box set.
For now the ultimate Looney Tunes boxset. While it's in a pretty random order (I would have liked the material by release year rather than some disks being for a character and others just a jumble) it's pretty good. The transfers look great and they are mostly unedited for content which is really nice. While not definitive it is a massive amount of cartoons and a mixed bag of rare bonus material. Whatever the case it's great value and easy to drop a disk in and watch a load back to back. Some of the issues with the release is that it collects previously individually sold disk sets (so the orders make more sense than in one massive collection). The disks are inconsistently printed too so some make it obvious which disk is from what set and which one of the 4 it is but others don't. Also the seating of the disks mean one has its title covered but one of the others. These are quibbles and shouldn't put you off this amazingly enjoyable set.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A super selection of WB cartoons.
There is so much to enjoy here. The characters are the zaniest , superbly choreographed, and all have stood the test of time.Some of the shorts have audio commentaries by historians and studion artists The whole set of 25 DVDs are neatly stored in a very attractive box with a slip top lid. I cannot say what the product is like, as it was bought as a Christmas present for my grandson.
