Where has this thing been?
After trying multiple options for breaking down pallets over the past two years I have finally found the only tool I should have ever been using. Breaks down pallets in nothing flat. The only thing I added was a 4’ piece of galvanized 1” (ID) pipe from the local big box hardware store and I was set to go. Thanks for a great product. Game changer!!! Will never break down pallets again without this tool!
If you are breaking down pallets to build furniture or for arts and crafts projects you need this tool. In the past i have broken pallets down using a hammer and circular saw which worked OK. this beast is a game changer. I will never go back to the old way again. I used a piece of 1" black iron pipe that was 4 feet long for the handle and it was perfect. The only issue that i have had is if the pallet wood is made of the really thin wood and in those cases the wood will usually either break on the end or the nails pull through. Not a big deal to me for what i was using but may be an issue for some projects. I tried to find pallets that were a little thicker anyway. Also if the boards are very wide you have to be more careful to not split them. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend to anyone looking to break down pallets for other uses.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works great
This pallet buster works great. I got it this afternoon and tried it out right away. I was using it to take apart heavy duty hardwood pallets used to carry landscape stones. I had already tried taking them apart with a different, more expensive pallet buster with little success and lots of frustration. In less than 5 minutes with this pallet buster I was able to take apart one whole pallet with ease and with no damage to the pallet pieces. Welldesigned product that workd as designed.
