Valves quality
I've had the previous model (the blue/yellow one) for many years, and I must say that it was much easier to inflate and quickly close and seal, thanks to the larger, fatter one-way valves. Now Kelsyus changed the type of valves, they are just standard ones. I see it as a litlle decay quality-wise (repeat: little). This hammock is always a pleasure!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cheap And Mostly Functional
It's functional and looks exactly as advertised, but the wire can make use of the float awkward when climbing on or off and it really only useful when folding it up again. The material seems to have a weird leak. It didn't deflate completely, but it kept shedding tiny bubbles nearly continuously. And not from any one spot where I could find a leak and fix it but just any part of the float that went under water, like when I was adjusting my position or climbing onto it. The netting is a little shallower than I'd like but it's cheap and functional for the most part. Easy to inflate
The first time I inflated this, I used a pump. Not necessary. Can be inflated by mouth with just 5-6 blows. Keeps 50% of your body under water. Perfect for 95 degree days in Florida. I'm 6 foot and my legs overhang about 6 inches. Not a big deal at all. We have 3 different style pool rafts and this is my favorite. The Perfect pool accessory!
The hammock has a hard, flexible plastic rod, sewn into it’s 360 degreee perimeter. Material & construction are also the best I’ve seen. Pillow offers 2 slightly different elevations, depending on which side is up. I’m 6’2” 170lbs & fits me very well. Keeps you wonderfully relaxed & cool in the water, so much so, you could fall asleep while on it. You can flex your pelvis to allow more water to wash onto you for more cooling. A well engineered product, not cheap garbage, which should last a few seasons, it used as intended. When others who try it are asked; what do you think? Perfect for relaxing on the water
This is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something sturdy that I could lie in on the pond. The best thing about this is you’re body is partially submerged so you stay cool.
