Essential Tool for the serious railway modeller
As per title. I don't know why I didn't buy one of these earlier since it takes the guesswork out of fault finding on trackwork. Instead of using a locomotive and observing where it stops it is much more convenient to use one of these. One could use a multi-meter but I find you need three hands. Very Unreliable!
I wouldn’t buy this product. The first I ordered arrived faulty: the red LED did not work at all (at any voltage). The replacement worked fine for a few months and then the red LED again failed. The voltage tester works but not as I expected in that you have to almost lay the tester on the track to use the contacts on the back of the panel.
