A quality tool & useful
Actually, I expected it to be a great product as my other Makita cordless tools (several). It has a lot of power for it's size and has many surprisingly useful applications for small areas around the shop, cleaning the car, etc. The only issue I have with it is that it doesn't remain upright when setting it down. Very small
The blower may be ok for a small shop, not good as a leaf blower. I bought long extension so I can use as a leaf blower. The air speed is very low, no where close to what is claimed, 185miles, more like 85mile at high setting.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great little blower
The blower was a bit smaller than expected but a very good tool. The three speeds work good and the trigger is also variable speed so you can leave it on a higher speed and still throttle up and down, Plenty of power for the smaller jobs in and outdoors and with both the long and short nozzles is versatile. Great little blower!
I was surprised when I received the blower. Its amazingly powerful for its size. I've already used it for drying the car off after washing, used it to blow up one of those beach loungers, and its great for speeding up the process of light briquettes in the chimney starter(on low speed of course). Weak Blower
This item is a Makita - so it does have a solid, quality structure. It is a really 'wimpy' device, though. Maybe I have some type of knowledge deficiency - so [potentially] take this review with a grain of salt... But I feel like, even for what it's rated for (18 V / 3.0 Ah), this blower is extremely weak. With that said, it was able to operate for quite some time when tested. Great battery life. I use the word "blower" loosely in my description above. It honestly never got much use after the aforementioned testing phase because the amount of air it pushes isn't practical for most relevant tasks.
