Amazing Value
This type of technology marks a new generation, having the capacity to hold over 4 Ah at 3.7v in such a small cell. As seen by the amazing price, the use of Lithium in the cell is becoming quite common. One problem I have come across is that the connection for the charger unit which came with the batteries seems insecure. There seem to be very few places where you can buy holders for these cells, though one site offers options to connect them in parallel (A type) or series (B).
Seeing that 3.7v or 7.4v is the standard, it would be useful if they were designed in 4v cells allowing three to be connected in series to give the 12v that is used by so many appliances. Three as 11.1v would do in most cases, but exceeding the 12v may open up possibilities for more applications. These cells do offer some type of hope of storing 12v solar power in a very affordable way.
