Perfect for play time
Ideal for my 44kg large GSD, it’s allows her to have that extra distance of freedom but I can stop her running after the rabbits/deer when it’s dark and near road. Initially it felt heavy, I’m now use to it and don’t notice the weight now. Easy retraction, straighten itself before retraction. Brilliant for a strong dog!
Having tried so many retractable leads, I will now never deviate from this high quality brand. The 10m lead is perfect for my sturdy, strong, collie/spaniel cross, a keen squirrel chasing dog - hence the need for this lead! Whilst the lead is heavier to carry, I find it aids my balance as It swings in my hand as I walk briskly. The shorter leads have less resistance for the dog, which is better for gentle, less strong dogs. I walk for five to six hours a day, incorporating vigorous games and would expect the lead to last about a year or so. The eventual downfall of the lead usually occurs when it becomes wet and frozen during sub-zero walks. Being so dependent upon these leads, I always keep a new spare in reserve. Lightweight, Better Than Average Extendable/Retractable Dog Lead
Excellent dog lead, giving our Labrador that much needed extra roaming freedom. She loves it and we both enjoy our walks so much better. Certainly, alot less pulling, that's got to be good! The bright yellow is a good idea, very distinctive. As she has a tendency to bite the lead, a harness is on the shopping list, it will make it more difficult for her to chomp on it. She's young yet, she'll grow out of trying to chew it. Not sure if the lead is actually sturdy enough to withstand much biting, I suspect it could snap. Thankfully, not happened so far. I personally have found the extend/retracting of the lead easy to use. You soon get the hang of it. What a godsend
Initially a bit put off by the price but OH MY......this is just brilliant. Flexi Giant Professional gives puppy freedom whilst still being secure and safe.
This is the second Flexi Giant Professional we’ve purchased. Unfortunately, our puppy chewed three quarters of the way through the tape of the first Flexi Giant Professional! Our puppy is a Goldendoodle (Mum being a Standard Poodle and the Dad being a Golden Retriever); he is very much Poodle and extremely active. Having the 10 metre tape is very useful. It enables puppy to have a good run. We just need to convince the puppy that chewing his leash isn’t a good idea! We are delighted with the Flexi leash.
