You know what.....this thing rules!
I'm a professional musician and use a DAW with Nuendo most of the time. A drama group asked me to record an outdoor ramble-singalong so I picked this up because of its size. It really is brilliantly easy to use, even more so than those old portastudios from the '80s. The reverb is actually very nice, not a high-end lexicon but perfectly decent for recordings. Quick to use, fair quality on-board mics, good fidelity considering the conversion, very nice build and decent screen feedback. Transferring to a DAW is a minor chore but not the drag for me that some seem to find. Thinking back to how long it took to do this sort of thing a few decades ago, it's a walk in the park. It is ideal for singer-songwriters who want to sketch out tracks, but you can use it to complete whole tracks on it no probs.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It takes a whle to get used to the controls and options, but when you do you can get some great results. Portastudio simplicity:)
This is great, simply plug in guitars & mics, choose presets and record! I also have Cubase 8 pro but the simplicity of this is a breath of fresh air. 4 stars not 5: the metromome is way too quiet and if you set ig to 'recording only' you need to be recording to set the tempo unless you happen to know your song is at 78bpm or whatever. Also, solo buttons would be really useful. These two things aside (which I knew before I bought it to be fair) I love it and recommend it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
