Beware before buying
I purchased this product partly because of the positive reviews. However, I would be very cautious about this product. The advert states max 1.4m pumping height whilst the spec within the box when receivers states max 1.2m. In reality even in bright sunshine (and we have tested over many days) is nearer 0.7m max before it shuts off. The battery appears to work well and operation is fairly straight forward. The biggest issue is the pump filter. Our pond is very clear (ie minimal debris) and we need to clear the filter every day as the pump stops after 3-4 hours of operation. Once cleared (which is a reasonably simple process) it then works again. The main issue is that the pump unit is very small and as such the area of the filter is about 4cmx2cm ie minimal surface area and as such gets blocked quickly. I have discussed with the supplier but no obvious solution. I have now created a larger tub with a range of additional filters such that the final chamber is as clear of debris as it can be. I now get 3-4 days use between cleaning the filter. Hope that helpsVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
