    This is the real deal, it's thick and great.

    I bought this for airguns because it is safe to use on them (not flammable and no solvents) and cause it has Molykote and Molykote is expensive and is only sold in larger amounts. This was an excellent alternative and the same stuff. This little container will last me a very ong time, cause this stuff is so thick and sticks well, that you only need a light smear of it on anything really. And because of the Moly in it, that light smear will be more than enough excellent protection and lubrication. I was actually shocked at how thick it is, it goes a VERY long way with just a tiny bit.

    Using it on plastic musical instruments.

    This food grade silicone grease is being used to lubricate plastic musical instrument tenon joints. It works very well on the ABS plastic instrument joints and doesn't seem to degrade the plastic. Time will tell if is good long term.
