Totally unsuitable
From the price I knew this was a pattern ( non genuine ) part. The reason for changing was due to a slight leak on the original valve. The water flow rate through this valve is excessively high and as this dishwasher controls the water level by means of a flow meter and electronics it was filling at around four times the rate of the original. This overwhelmed the flow meter and the machine overfilled and went into a fill/drain, fill/drain error cycle. Turning the mains water pressure down was still not sufficient to allow the machine to work correctly. I had to obtain and fit a genuine part and the dishwasher is now working perfectly.
