I received this tin whistle today. I should have expected it but I was still surprised by its diminutive size. So cute but any smaller and my fingers wouldn't cover the holes as I can't get them any closer together!
And what it is, is, a good value nice looking fairly robust whistle that does what whistles do. Would like to own a top of the range whistle but why?. The genius of the cheaper end of the scale is that the marginal mistuning and occasional crack and squeal along with stirring hot chocolate add to the charm.
I ordered a key of G and got a key of D whistle, it was only after I'd thrown away the packaging that I realised as it's printed on the whistle so couldn't return
