Condition:
Mounts to roof bars with u bolts supplied or optional t-bolt kit (RB250). Thumb wheel opens to 45mm. Constructed from powder coated steel. Bracket is 80mm x 35mm. U bolts are 8mm diam. 80mm in length x 70mm between threads.

Great for the price
Just used them 1st time today , I have 2 old style heavy mountain bikes so was a bit worried but after 25 miles thru the town and at 70mph on motorway nice and sturdy I'm pleased with them and bought 3rd one today to use with my boy's bike ! Very difficult to fix to roof bars and does not fit large bikes.
I bought three of these bike racks and to be honest they are not fit for purpose. They are easy to put together however the fitting to the roof bars is incredibly difficult. There are lots of smalls nuts and bolts and very difficult to get these tightened when it is on the roof. In addition, the bolts are very long which makes it even more difficult and time consuming, I had to put it all together off the car roof as it was the only way it was going to work. I then had to get the whole set up on the roof and fixed. This process took about 2 hours! Once up I tried to get my mountain bike fixed however it was too long and the frame too wide to fit the clamp - so that didn't work! To be fair I got my kids bikes fixed properly and they seem secure (there isnt a problem with quality - they are quite sturdy), however it takes far too long to get it all assembled.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Disappointed - cheap buy but poor quality
I suppose it is good value, but I wish I had paid a bit more for something of better quality. This is my second bike rack, it's very similar in some areas, but the fasteners its is supplied with make the installation very frustrating, and long winded. The actual bike clamp is only secured in one place, which makes it less secure. The other "cheap" bike rack I have can be installed onto the roof rack in minutes.
