This is a carbon-fiber number plate frame made by Empire Motor Sports and designed to fit a number plate on a car. The frame is made of 100% carbon fibre twill and comes in a shiny silver color. Looks great, double sided tape, screw caps
Great looking carbon fiber license plate frame. It's not a sticker but real material. I've ordered a few different carbon fiber frames and this one has a wider frame. For California folks, the frame lines up right below the plate numbers/letters. There is double sided tape on the bottom part of the frame so it doesn't move around when opening/closing your trunk. There are caps included which adds to the finished look of the piece. The caps have two components to it- a white internal portion and the black external cap. to INSTALL: 1. Make sure you put the screw through the white internal portion, 2. screw it down THEN 3. add the black cap on top. This is an important detail so they don't fall off. :) Overall great item. Plate not securely held in frame - but looks great.
Nice looking. Poor design: only sticky tape holds on the lower part of the license plate. Others have a notch or small slot, so plate does not separate from frame. Sticky tape doesn't stick for long.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pretty on the outside but...
Small scuff on frame but it was easily overlooked. Other than that the carbon fiber looked great. Frame was more flexible than I expected but maybe that's normal with carbon fiber. I expected plastic tabs on the back of the frame to hold the license plate in but instead found foam tape already stuck to the frame on the bottom edge. Seems cheap but it works. When everything is installed it looks pretty good. I just wish I had a picture of the back of the frame before I bought it for full disclosure. Sorry I didn't take a picture of the back. It's a pain in the butt to remove once you have the security caps on (which is the whole point).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great looking license plate frame.
Just as stated in listing, real carbon fiber, no surprises there. You do need to be patient and line up the plate properly. The lines are not perfectly straight but overall, especially considering the price, the quality is great. Real carbon, but poor fit
If you get a good firm mounting with the 2 top screws, then you are good. In my case, the plate rattling, so I had to use the bottom two screws as well and you can see the this frame does not have holes at the bottom. Instead it has 2 double-sided tape strips to adhere where the bottom screws are. As a result the bottom part of slightly raised as it is sitting on top of the screws. When it is time next year to renew the license registration, I will have to remove the double sided tape and I guess apply new strip. Not a major inconvenience, but had I knew that, I would look for a product with better fit. Real carbon though, hats off!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great product and real carbon fiber.
Surprised with the quality to price ratio. Price is what makes this item a great buy with no regrets as the product is real carbon fiber twill. Shipping was delayed for some reason making the arrival date late and there fore I didnt have it in time for the car parade. Either way .. Looks Great, the caps are a nice bonus
I put the license plate frames on my Nissan Pathfinder. They looked good. Everything fit well. The free caps were a nice bonus. I like the dark carbon fiber against the white paint of the Pathfinder. The frames were easy to put on. They are thin and light weight. There are two little sticky tabs at the bottom of the frame to stick the frame to the license plate. This is needed to keep the two together. The reason I purchased these carbon fiber license plate frames, is because the local car wash bent the license plate and plastic frame so much the frame broke off. Why pay more?
Carbon fiber frames are all over the place in price. Go ahead and pay $50 if you want. I've purchased three of these frames and they're all great. The latest one even came with 3M tape pre-installed (I had to use some of my own before). I can't imagine the more expensive versions are any different or any better.
