Great optical lead worth its weight in gold
Was in a previous life ( when HiFI shops were open) a Hifi salesperson selling the likes of Naim, Arcam , Sugden and had experience of this particular optical lead and was impressed when selling it. Recently have had the need to purchase a decent optical lead for stereo purposes and decided that I needed to buy a van den Hul. I was not expecting the level of improvement over a cheap lead that this optical lead is capable of. Thoroughly recommended. Have it going from a transport to a Sonic Frontiers jitterbug then using a Nordost RCA digital lead from the jitterbug to the modified Arcam Black Box 3 which has had its output IC's replaced by discrete op amp boards. WOW...I have not heard what the Black Box was capable of once jitter and RF has been eliminated from the source. The van den Hul reminded me of what its all about and why I am an audiophile. Another genre of music to discover now that I am another step further...perfect choice...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
