Decent fan well worth the money!

Cannot recommend.
Could I recommend this fan to anyone else, no. Yes it is cheap and this is reflected in the materials and build quality. In operation air flow is moderate but not great. It's three speed but it might as well only be one. There is perhaps 5% difference between level 3 and 2 but no difference between 2 and 1. The fan blade itself is made of plastic which is very soft and makes the blade floppy. The mesh cage does the job but will not stand up to much in the way of knocks without denting. The switches are OK but they could have saved even more money as already mentioned they only really needed two switches, off and on. The base disk is good, its better then a lot of the stands which have the leg type stabilizers. The middle name disk for the fan cage is supplied but with no screws to attach it to the cage. As i sit here writing this the motor head has decided to flop over by its self and is now pointing at the floor.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good but could be much better
I am generally pleased with this fan but I wish for two things to have been different. I wish that the variation in speed was more marked. There isn't a much difference between setting 1 and setting 3. I would also have liked setting 1 to be much much gentler so it could be used when going to bed for a bit of a breeze. I also wish it was much quieter on this lowest setting. I believe with a speed variation it would achieve all these things.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I don't understand why the 'RAM' disc that goes on the front, isn't already attached. I have not been able to put it on, as screws are too small and fiddly, for my arthritic hands.
