Good for what it does -
This is a base model code reader which reads (and clears) any codes captured by the OBD system. However, you still have to look the codes up in the separate manual. The manual does have a very extensive listing of codes broken down by major manufacturers. However this model does not test ABS or SRS systems. For those tests you should look for s model 3100 with a suffix -F, J, M or similar. The connecting cord has a OBD plug connection on one end what looks like a wide serial plug on the other end which can be removed from the reader unit.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

I have been using Innova products for over 15 years. This is one of the best you can buy to scan you Vehicles at home. It is very simple to use and gives the DTCs and definition of each code.
