Good quality mudguards
All bicycle mudguards are a bit fiddly to fit particularly full sized with metal stays, I fitted these to a bike with 700 x 35 tyres and still needed to trim the stays down by about 30mm all round to get them to sit correctly and evenly spaced around the wheel so they looked good, the tiny screws which stop the stays from moving once attached to the mudguards were particularly fiddly but the end result looks good, so far they have stayed exactly where they were put, and I don't foresee any problems with the stainless fittings and nuts/bolts/washers.
Most of the good mudguards that I have fitted come with "breakaways" in the event of an accident or if they take a heavy knock, these have them and would be easy enough to clip back in place, the mudguards themselves seem quite tough. I would buy and fit them again for a customer I bought these predominantly because they were white, but I would recommend them regardless of the colour you choose. The only thing I thought they needed was a front mudguard nose finishing piece, it is just a plastic edge, no soft rubber edged finisher which would have been nicer.
