Nice item, website guides you through the installation and as long as you are OK with a screwdriver and maybe a but if drilling, you should be good to go. Nice looking unit on the wall, probably be considered bit old hat now with a dongle in your router for internet connection but it does the job. If you can get the V2 you can still have geo-fencing etc for nothing as V3 are now charging for this which defeats the point. I appreciate you can get notifications but for me this defeats the point of Smart thermostat. Good value for money at just over £110 but again comparing to Nest not quite as feature rich and in my opinion the App isn't as neat. Real first world problems here and don't forget the nest is at least another £100.....

I can see why this system is rated very well by reviewers.
The system is easy to install by following the detailed instructions from Tado. The app works fantastically and our room temperature is much more stable than with our old wireless thermostat.

Good product, but the support documentation needs some work
Really good product once setup, easy to use (via the app, not so much the device itself) and aesthetically pleasing with good support. Not as simple to install as initially though especially when it came to wiring but the remote support team were able to offer enough help to get it installed successfully. Also I would say the instruction provided weren't great because there were none and was all online instruction which after you switch off your power to safely install the device which then switches off your router and then internet, well, I see a flaw there.....
