Great buy for the money
I have two Gibson Les Pauls (a Standard and a Trad. Pro) and a Gibson Explorer (and several American made Fenders) and let me just say that this guitar stands up to - and in some ways beats - all of them for about 1/5 the price. As a rule, I am perfectly ok with paying more for a quality, American made item - whether it's a guitar, a car, or the shirt on my back. That said, after playing the ES-339 and an Epi Les Paul Ultra that I picked up for about the same price, it's tough to think that I've paid many, many times what I paid for this guitar for a USA Gibson or Fender. very nice little guitar
Really nice little guitar for a very nice price. Love the weight and size and the P 90 pups are really great sounding , especially with some crunch. The setup was not so good. Fret ends felt like barbed wire and the frets needed to be leveled. Action was way too high and had to be adjusted to taste. Pups needed to be dialed in too.
