Designed around the idea of clean audio reproduction, the SP2500 2.1 computer speaker system from Corsair delivers an enjoyable listening experience for gamers. The set includes two satellites, desktop controller, and one subwoofer. Gaming becomes even more involved when you hook up these computer speakers that boast 232 watts of RMS power. With an 18-inch width to the enclosed unit alone, you can use this series of drivers for movie watching and other audiophile pursuits. The -37 dB sensitivity from the satellite units will keep the frequencies humming with each game adventure. You can adjust the set to create just the sound that you want with a PC input, additional audio inputs, and a headphone connector at the desktop controller. This audio controller connects to the components with a 6-foot cord so that you always have a chance of altering the bass or treble. With four buttons and one knob, the controller of this Corsair speaker system remains simple so that you can concentrate on the entertainment value at all times.This set gives you different and varied ways of listening, including the dynamic DSP programs within the controller. In fact, the 1.8-inch TFT display is user-friendly so that you can utilize it to alter the frequencies based on your entertainment needs. There's even a Night mode color scheme so that the display shows up well in all lighting conditions. The two, bi-amplified speakers each have a tweeter and woofer. Because each driver has its own dedicated grille, you can see all of the components working as you turn up the volume. The tweeter is about 1-inch wide, and it has a ferrofluid-cooled design. The dome below it features a blue color, which adds to its attractiveness in any gaming or entertainment room. This component is about 3 inches in diameter so that you can hear both midrange and bass frequencies with the 2.2k-ohm impedance value.Whether you are gaming late at night or watching a movie with friends, the SP2500 will give you sound quality without compromise because firmware updates are automatic when the set is connected to a PC. Built into the Corsair speakers is a solid frequency response of 35 Hz to 20 kHz for the enclosed unit and 100 Hz to 10k Hz for the satellites. With these specifications, your stereo music should be crisp and clean as the 8-inch wide subwoofer cone continues to beat.A single power cable connects this entire set to an electrical source. After you power it up, you can choose to add accessories to enhance the fun; amplifiers, laptops, monitors, and a CPU all connect easily. The product also comes with a 3.5-millimeter jack so that you can use headphones or a headset during quiet sessions.The two CA-SP211NA speaker units are slightly taller than 6 inches, which makes them suitable for a bookshelf or other tight space. The Corsair SP2500 2.1 speaker system Will Blow Your Mind
The system has 6 Class D amplifiers inside the subwoofer, 2 that go to the fully enclosed sub, you only see the port you do not see the speaker that is pushing out all of that base, then the two satellite speakers has two speakers each, they each have their own dedicated Class D amplifier. This is an ingenious piece of art for the audiophile, they system takes your breath away while it is knowing pictures off the wall and items on your desk, yes it is that loud, I HIGHLY recommend it!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Pleasantly Surprised
Surprised, because it's marketed for gamers and that usually mean inferior quality (a gimmick) but the sound is really good for general purpose computer use. For gamers like myself they're unbelievable, especially when a Mini-Nuke blows up a Corvega in FALLOUT 4. The sub-woofer kicks in and it's like "BOOOOM" "WOW!!". Sorry, I digress. The volume control is unique to me with it not located on one of the sat-speakers. I like the different EQ and Program selections but I just keep it on DYNAMIC POP and leave it be. It sounds better to my ears. I didn't give it six stars because a 5.1 model doesn't exist in Corsair's lineup and the satellite speaker cables should have been 10' instead of 6', my desired speaker placement setup requires longer cables, but that's just me. Corsair should've designed digital input connections to add more options but it wasn't a deal-breaker because I'm not a wealthy audiophile. Brought my Corsair Speakers back to life
