Cambridge quality and still a current sound...
A great amp that is easily improved upon if you use pro power leads and speaker cable. The AM10 can easily still hold its ground today. It has been replaced by the Cambridge Audio AXA35 since but if you find a good second hand AM10 then grab it. I would then use something like the MCRU No88 power lead, QEDXT25i or QED 79 strand speaker cable and a QED performance 40i RCA interconnects and the sound will impress you. You will have a highly detailed, precise, and clear sounding system for less than £300 currently (2022), that's not to be sniffed at!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great Product.
If this is a refurbished unit the previous owners must have been extraordinarily careful; it is UNMARKED. I am quite delighted with the machine. It plays all of my classical CDs brilliantly and is very easy to use. Coupled to my very old Denon amp I now have a great listening experience. Looks and acts the part - very pleased
I don't often write reviews as.....well, generally I can't be bothered. Thought I'd leave one for these guys though as I'm genuinely impressed with this CD player. For a start, they're a UK company - always keen to help out home grown talent. I'm not by any means a hi-fi aficionado, but I thought the sound quality was excellent - crisp and clear. Forgot CD's could sound so good when not played through a 'mini system'. The player itself looks brand new and rather chic - minimalist which I like. Simple, clearly labelled control buttons. CD tray opens and closes very smoothly, load time average I'd say. My one and only gripe would be that the remote looks a bit cheap and nasty, but for the price and build quality of the player itself, I think it would be a little churlish to knock a star off the rating for that one thing. One of the cheaper CD players. It works really well.

Cambridge Audio products are amazing...It's very hard to see any signs of use, and certainly none of misuse

Hard to tell it’s not new
I bought this to go with an existing CA AV amp. It arrived quickly, properly boxed with remote and user manual. Although pre owned it’s virtually unmarked and hard to tell from new.
