Both the cable and connections are made of quality materials. I have purchased 40 of these for use in a dance college and to date have had no problems at all with regard to performance, the jack connections is used continuously during the day and they all remain in full working order. Distortion and faulty noise comes from wires

I rate these very poorly because the mini Jack cable is very flexible which results in bad connections and emits noise. I had to return mine, but these aren't any better.
