Quality cage !
This type of cage is perfect for a hatchback/ sloped back car. It is high enough for the dog to have headroom when seated and wide enough for turning around in. The finish is excellent ,not the powdered paint that flakes off and allows the bars to rust after licking.. The sliding door is very smooth in moving and stays open for loading which is a bonus and permits using both hands to lift the dog . There is ample padding and no sharp edges. Normally I keep cages up but this one folds so simply and quickly that ,I only unfold it when I am carrying a dog and so have full use of my boot at other times. There are lots of anti -rattle rubbers supplied but even without them, i am not getting any noticeable rattling.. The base bedding is a bit thin and I could feel the metal bars through it ,so I cut a piece of short pile carpet, from waste in my attic and put it below the bedding . My dog is very happy and comfortable in the cage . It is more expensive than a lot of other cages but ,I feel, the extra cost got me a better finished and higher quality item and that it is value for money and I would highly recommend this cage and indeed this most helpful supplier .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Solution to a problem
When I changed my car from a honda accord estate to a mazda 6 estate I didnt realise my dog cage wouldnt fit the sloped tailgate, this one does its easy to fold up and has a sliding door instead of an open outwards one that I can leave open ready to put my dogs in without trying to hold them one handed and open a cage doesnt sound like a big deal but it really makes a difference, the price is double that of the old rectangle cage but a fraction of a custom fit cage so I am happy to recommend it to anyone one with a later model mazda, mondeo, accord etc with a sloped tailgate busquality is very good and it comes with bedding and rubber anti rattle bushes that I havent needed to be honest as it is better designed than the old oneVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Perfect for our needs
It fits neatly into our 2 yr old golf hatchback. The sliding door works well but it is a bit rattley. Our 3 month old wheaten terrier is happy in it , with plenty of room to move around at the moment. Well built, supplied with lugs that you can wedge in the bits that rattle. I don’t fine it rattles much to worry about.
