Used them before for audiobooks
.... so I have no idea how good they are for music. They maybe don't have the clearest sound but they have a good range making them ideal for books heard in various environments. They are chunky compared to many others including other Philips, the cables too seem more robust, which is why I like them. The earpiece cables are the same length which I also prefer as I have few clothes with shirt pockets on them. Oddly, although the earpieces are relatively large, solid plastic tthey don't fall out much at all where earbuds are constantly dangling about on their wires.
