I bought this 1st edition iPhone for my collection. It’s rarity and value justifies it’s price.
These 1st edition iPhones sell for silly money. I paid less than a £100 for mine, it is a bit rough but fully functional and it’s rarity more than compensates it’s lower value. It is a unique historical item that has joined my collection of older iPhones. Buy one whilst they are available, even one for spare parts is a good investment.
