Deep inside underground caves they find themselves cut off from the world and off the map. Battling to get back to the surface they realise that they are being hunted by an unknown cannibalistic force. Now they must pull together and fight for their very survival.<BR><BR><br><BR><BR>Beginning just moments after the end of the previous film, THE DESCENT 2 follows a rescue mission to save a group of female spelunkers who disappeared in the Appalachian Mountains. A sole survivor, Sarah (Shauna MacDonald) comes out of the caves, but a local sheriff makes her go back into the dark to aid in the search.

    From the director of Dog Soldiers, Descent and Descent 2.

    I had these 2 films on DVD a few years ago but god only knows where they vanished off too. I was going to purchase them separately but found a version of the films in a dual box, so saving on buying them separately, it made sense to buy this version. I watched them the day I received my package through the post. Both epic films, more so the first film than the second. I won't provide a synopsis of the film because if you've never seen it, I don't want to spoil it.

    love the desecent/have not watched the descent 2 yet

    I watched the descent a few years ago and I loved the film so much that I wanted to buy it, I love the fact that it has a great story but will also have you on the edge of your seat their is also a good twist to the story. I have not watched the descent 2 yet but am looking forward to getting the popcorn out.
