MARCHLANDS is the enthralling story of three families linked across three decades by the chilling mysteries locked inside their home. The tragic death of an eight year old girl in 1968 sets in motion the haunting story of Marchlands; a remote house in the North of England. In 1987 we meet the house's new residents, the Maynards, whose own little girl appears to have a connection to the tragic ghost. And then, in 2010 a young couple's dream move to the idyllic countryside is once again disturbed by the lonely spirit. An all star cast including Alex Kingston, Jodie Whittaker, Denis Lawson, and Anne Reid, feature in Stephen Greenhorn's (GLASGOW KISS, DOCTOR WHO) ground-breaking supernatural drama; marking the first ever creative collaboration between ITV and Twentieth Century Fox.

    Just tells you the name of a house, bit misleading until you get into the story.

    A very nice series which leaves you guessing until near the end as there are mixed messages. We found it very enjoyable and would recommend it .THe way the series is structured is good and once you get used to the changing eras it is very good viewing and is similar to how series were produced in the past.
