THE STORY IS VERY POWERFUL THROUGH THE SUBJECT MATTER OF GARETH HOPKINS A ONCE TALENTED WELSH RUGBY PLAYER WHO GETS A CAREER THREATENING INJURY WHICH MAKES HIS LIFE, COUPLED WITH THE PROBLEMS OF HIS WIFE AND STEPSON DIFFICULT TO DEAL WITH. BUT THROUGH WATCHING THE EPISODES YOU WANT HIM TO SUCCEED IN HIS LIFE AND CAREER BECAUSE HE CARES ABOUT THE WORLD HE LIVES IN A THOROUGHLY ENJOYABLE BLAST FROM THE PAST AND REMINDS US ALL HOW GOOD WRITING OF THIS QUALITY WAS COMMON PLACE IN THE 70S.
