At Last... Edge Of Ya Seat Horror Suspense!!!
Don't know about you... but I'm 'old school' horror - the more thrills, the more unexpected scares the better. And I've lost count of how many so called horror movies I've bought over the years that have ended up down the charity shop after just one play. With me so far? OK, let's talk about "F". This starts tense, and just gets better and better minute by minute. You'll be left in no doubt as to why this was given an 18 certificate by the time the night security guard meets his fate inside a trade waste sized wheelie bin about ten minutes into the film. Much is made of the fact that there are an increasing number of attacks on staff who work in our schools in England. This little gem is based on actual events which makes it all the more terrifying. The plot? A group of teenage hoodies enter an unlocked sixth form college after hours and just start killing anyone who's still there. The Security guards, the cleaners, the Caretaker, the teacher doing after-school Basketball in the gym.... even the Police Officers who turn up to investigate once they've been alerted something's wrong. The hoodies are unstoppable and tonight's the night 'no-ones going home!' This is actually very brutal. Strictly adults only - DON'T let the kids watch it! They'll never want to go to school again, and you'll be up with them every night for months... My only criticism with this super, British made horror flick (and you will arrive at the same conclusion) is that just as it gets going, and it's in full swing (you'll be on the edge of your seat by this time) the movie ends prematurely. The only conclusion..... the ones that got away were the lucky ones and the ones that didn't died the most horrible deaths imaginable. This is a movie you'll easily be able to watch more than once. Because you won't believe what you're seeing the first time round. Won't give any more away - but in the words of the great Nick Ross....
