Classic dark comedy of the Thatcher period
Peter Davison, David Troughton, Barbara Flynn and Graham Crowden were born to play their roles in this short series, short in the sense that it ran to only to only 14 episodes plus a TV movie sequel. Anyone who enjoyed the 1980s wouldn't have been a student at Lowlands University, a souless concrete jungle of buildings populated by sick students and mildly insane lecturers. Who can forget the pair of nuns? Highly recommended for discerning viewers. The transfer is satisfactory and there are a couple of commentaries which provide interesting information on the production.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
