Absolutely amazing!
This is one amazing safety razor! It feels and looks expensive and I'm sure that, with the right care, it will last a lifetime. Some people say this is an aggressive razor, but at its lowest setting I found it to be extremely mild and safe. I have coarse beard and very sensitive skin and haven't feel the need to go higher than 2. Apart from the high price tag, I would easily recommend this to a wet shaving newcomer. Plus, with 6 adjustable settings there's a lot of room to grow as you gain experience and want something more aggressive. I'm hoping that I found my one razor for life - and can now stop purchasing these damn things (although there's just an undeniable charm about them). PS: if you're concerned about the usual "negative" points raised about this safety razor, don't be! You need to take a bit more time to use, over a multi blade razor but will be rewarded with a close shave. Use with a brush and shaving soap! Not a Butterfly
This razor appears to be beautifully made, but it does NOT have the Twist To Open "butterfly" mechanism quoted in the product description. Since that's the type of razor I wanted it obviously failed to meet my spec and I returned it unused. So, I can't recommend this razor if it's a TTO that you want and I can't comment on whether it's good value because that's a function of how well it shaves but I can say that it certainly looked classy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
