The Olympus PEN D3 is a compact, single-lens reflex, half-frame camera. This 35 mm camera uses a mirror and prism system that allows the photographer to see the image that will be captured. The Olympus SLR camera is one of the smallest 35 mm cameras that use film in the regular 135 cassettes. It comes standard with a 32 mm f/1.7 lens. The Olympus SLR camera has a shutter setting of either 25, 50, 100, 200 or B. The minimum aperture is f/3.5 and the maximum aperture is f/22. The user can remove the back completely from the Olympus SLR camera to load and unload the film. This 35 mm camera is easy to use even for the beginner photographer. The Olympus PEN D3 has a lever at the top that winds to advance the film after each photo. It has an uncoupled CdS exposure meter which replaced the selenium one in earlier models of the PEN cameras.
