Camera is great, lens is better used for decoration.
The body of the camera seems to be working fine, and the light meter does work. However the lens was made for a much older model and was very loose. rough start!
The film advance jammed and I couldn't use the camera. It would have cost me more to get it fixed than I paid for it. Ah! my chance to take apart a Nikon!!! I opened up the camera and found a little piece of plastic jamming the cam that hooked to the film advance shaft....I removed it and, Eureka!!! everything works just fine. I love the 50mm 1:1.4 lens. Good but not great
Camera works in manual mode with 1/90th of a second shutter speed but any other speed requires batteries to work. Tried replacing the batteries several times but it seems that I will have to send it in to a camera repair shop to get the electronics fixed.
