Nintendo Game Boy Pocket is a slim model release of the larger original video game console. The Game Boy Pocket uses mini cartridges with a 1 MB capacity and features the release of many classic games by Nintendo-owned franchises, including Super Mario Bros., Zelda, and Metroid. The Nintendo Game Boy Pocket features a CPU speed of 4.19 MHz and a system RAM of 8 KB. Game Boy Pocket is typically a single player console with some multiplayer options via turn-based games and a link cord peripheral. All games playable on this handheld console are in passive monochrome display with a slight upgrade in picture quality over the original Game Boy. It has a 2.6-inch screen display with 160 x 144 resolution. The Nintendo Game Boy Pocket system features longer battery life and requires fewer AAA batteries.
