Set up issue - wouldn't work with USB cable - however works perfectly with wireless connection
I initially did everything: downloaded the Brother complete utilities package, installed, kept getting either of two error messages: either "printer error" or USB not recognized. If this happens to you - don't give up on this printer. You simply need to go to MENU, then follow the steps for connecting wirelessly to your network. You need to know your precise network name and password (case sensitive). Having done this, I am now very happy with this printer.
