The Nikon AF-S Nikkor 85mm F/1.4 G lens is intended for use on both full-frame and APS-C formats. The super bright camera features a silent wave motor that ensures a silent operation for the fast focus typical of Nikon lenses. Nine rounded aperture blades open fast to produce a smooth bokeh from the F1.4 maximum aperture camera. With a solid construction of magnesium alloy and a sealed metal tube, the Nikon 85 1.4G is ideal for use in challenging environments. The Nikkor allows you to focus on objects as close as 2.8 feet away, giving you the maximum magnification ratio of 1:8.3. The perfect portrait lens
There just isn't a better portrait lens. It is tack sharp, great bokeh, and the large aperture provides the narrow depth of field to provide separation of the subject from background. The lens stays sharp, with minor fall off in the corners, at full aperture. The large aperture also makes it a great low light lens. Construction is pro level, and autofocus is fast and silent. I waited to long before buying this lens

Best 85mm for Nikon cameras.
