reliable sturdy.
i hav been buying this watch for many many years only if needing t replace if lost or coz it v hard and expensive t buy new straps the same and often cheaper t buynew whole watch.these watches are fantastic they do all the basics u can knock it about go bath in it or wash up with no fear coz it 50m waterproof rather than just splash proof.ive never had one where the battery is still going great as these do even 4 or 5 years later.being black and plain goes with everything.for a woman its not as huge a dial as some are.there is only one fault the last few years the straps seem tb shorter im a woman and it only just leaves a bit t thread through clasp and its meant tb unisex also it makes it easier for it t catch and come off but i can honestly say if the strap were a little longer it would b a perfect watch.even as it is the actual watch part i cannot fault at all.its extreme good value for money a v rare thing these days t get smething so well well made and reliable.its a shame it only comes in one colour.ive sometimes tried others when i want a colour change but i always end up with one of these again coz its by far a better watch.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice looking watch but great for kids; too small for my wrist looks like a kids watch it fits on the second to last insert fine for work. Practical and stylish.
This watch offers the basic functions which are all I need for general day-to-day use. The time can be set for 12- or 24-hour display and the day and date are shown continually in smaller characters on the main display. The watch is waterproof and it has an alarm which is easily set, as well as an hourly chime if desired. There's also a stopwatch calibrated in hundredths of a second with a split second stop button (I won't use that) and a green backlight allows you to see the display in the dark. It's also comfortable and stylish. All the functions are controlled by three neat little side buttons. I found it easier to ignore the bewildering instruction leaflet and just learn about the watch in a few minutes by experimenting with the three buttons. I have more expensive watches but this Casio is great for those occasions when I don't want to risk damaging a more expensive watch. Nice watch of the 80's
This watch is actually a classic of 80's. Casio didn't stop to produce it and it's easy to guess why. It does exactly what it says : keep time with accuracy (less than 15 sec/month of shift for mine), easy to use, solid. It is not connected, nor does coffee... only that i need. More Than Amazing Value
Watch came with Box and Papers, So far I am Very Happy with this Casio Digital Watch. The Watch is Very Easy to Set for Time and Date, I just followed the instructions provided with the Watch. The Watch sits Very Comfortably on my wrist, it's Very Light so I hardly feel it's there. Time is Easy to Read, Very Clear, the only Negative is the Green Back Light, which is not very powerful, but it does the job. Apparently Casio claim the Battery will last for up to 10 years, I will have to wait and see on that one. Have been wearing the Watch while Swimming at the Local Public Swimming Baths, and it is Water Proof, no leaks what so ever. This Watch might not be a Status Symbol, but it's very practical and well designed, and so far no problems.

Very practical time piece and reasonably priced
I have had at least four of these over the last 15 years. The only reason I buy a new one is that the strap breaks after a few years ( I have 2 still working with broken straps) and the new watch is cheaper than buying a new strap.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great for the outdoors
Great little handy watch to have. I do a lot of outdoor activities so I didn't want to wreck my nice watch so I bought this one for the rough stuff. The alarm and stopwatch (does laps too) are great features. The alarm isn't so loud so if you want to hear it you're better taking it off and putting it next to your pillow because if it gets wrapped up in the covers you most likely won't hear it. The other thing is that the backlight button is central to adjusting other things (switching from hours to minutes when you're adjusting the time, for example) so you can't adjust settings on the watch if it's dark because of the light button's double function.
